Hotel is very convenient to the airport and in this respect provides a good point for arrivals / departures from Port Elisabeth airport. Whilst our departure was before the normal breakfast time slot, the hotel staff provided us with some breakfast food the night before, albiet without a fridge in the room.

Room was functional but nothing special. We were missing a towel but that was soon corrected. Unknown if it was our room's problem, but we had no hot water in the morning and with an early depature just gave up and left. For a one night stay the hotel is suitable as a transit hotel.

Host Nico is fantastic, goes the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble. Very nice room and wonderful location to the airport.

The room is nice and the design of the furnishings are great.

The staff was really helpful. The room included breakfast, I however had to leave before breakfast was served. They then made up a breakfast hamper that I could take along on my travel.

The manager on duty bent over backwards to accommodate my sons for 2 nights.The young lady at reception was always helpful and friendly and made the stay just so much better. Value for money!

Very friendly staff

The room was not cozy neither pleasant, cigarettes smelling in the pillons and sheets. Not a good place to rest after a long day... The shower was ok, but must say that the bathroom wasn't also the cleanest we had in sa. Needs to be redecorated.

Easy to find from PE airport. Secure, well equipped and comfortable. Friendly atmosphere

The new room upstairs was fine. The second room downstairs in the old section was rather 'musty'/mouldy but perhaps it reflects the age and furnishing/carpets??? We only stayed overnight so it was tolerable.

Room was comfortable, it was very easy accesible from the airport, staff was friendly, breakfast was AMAZING!

En route to our room, we were welcomed by the friendly guesthouse cat. We are cat lovers, so this really made us feel at home. The situation of the rooms outside of the guesthouse is really nicely done with a central and very pretty courtyard.

We stayed in room 26 so have the following comments relative to our experience: Unfortunately we found that the bathroom is not adequately lit, so applying make up (for ladies) is difficult to do. Insufficient hanging space for used towels, so had to hang towels on door, shower etc. Found that towels and bedding smelt of cigarette smoke, as if they had been laundered and packed etc in a room full of smokers. Finally, due to our room bordering onto residential properties, we experienced a lot of noise (people talking loudly and a dog barking incessantly). For guests who value their privacy and some peace and quiet, this could be problematic. Hence my classification as "business/city trip/shopping" more than "family/spa/relax or romance/honeymoon".

The owners are very sympatic, there were a lot of attention since our arrivel. The room were very cleaned and smelled nice. the rooms are well designed and the bed very conforatable. The dinner was the best part...good food...tasty soup...almost home food, we loved it.

The swiming pool, was not cleaned, and there were no chairs to be in the sun.

The attitude and helpfulness of the staff was absolutely magnificent, making the whole time spent in Port Elizabeth most enjoyable

very thin curtains and outside lighting made the room very light and I struggled to sleep

The friendlyness of the couple who runs it. First we had a look at three different rooms that we could pick from. Then when we got the room and discovered that the warm water didn´t work we got a new room and the hostess even came with a ice cold white wine as an apology from the staff (!). The new room was in a higher pricerange and had both aircon and warm water :-) We were very happy. The breakfast was excellent and so was the staff. It said in the add that the airport was 10 min away, that´s not correct, it´s actually only 3-4 mins away, excellent with other words.
